SCIENCE CLUB FOR GIRLS
integrated campaign
It’s a sobering fact: only 4% of today’s female workforce in science and engineering vocations are of Black or Latina roots. There are countless numbers of young, ambitious girls who dream of being engineers and scientists, but don’t get a chance to pursue their passions due to economic or geographic circumstances. STEM programs are the beating heart of Science Club for Girls and their program that fosters excitement, confidence and literacy in science, technology, engineering and math for youth in underrepresented communities. This campaign provided a clean, clear sophisticated presence and message for an organization that previously had difficulty reaching a broader audience. Elevating the featured women and girls to an understated yet heroic level was the objective. Via intimate storytelling and direct, compelling visuals, the heart and determination of the SCFG organization broke through. A rewarding assignment from an inspiring client.
